When you submit an application or contact form on DriveAway.ca, we collect the information you provide: your name, contact details (email and phone), city of residence, employment and income information, credit self-assessment, vehicle preferences, and any notes you choose to share. We may also collect technical data such as your browser type and pages visited to improve our website.
How we use your information
Your information is used to process your financing inquiry, connect you with a partner dealership for auto financing, communicate with you about your application, and provide customer support. With your consent, we may also follow up with relevant offers. We do not sell your personal information. DriveAway.ca does not receive a referral fee.
Credit reviews
Submitting an application allows us to review your inquiry and share it with a partner dealership. A formal credit inquiry occurs if you choose to proceed with a financing offer, and you are informed before that happens.
Sharing with partners
To process your financing inquiry, we share application details with a partner dealership — only as required to handle your request. That partner is expected to handle your information in accordance with applicable privacy law.
Data security & retention
Applications are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. We retain application data only as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights
